Me: hi im calling to check on the status of my resume.
Employee: I don't think we're hiring anymore, but the resumes will be held on file.
Me: well I just wanted to say that whenever you will be hiring again I will still be interested in the job.
Employee: okay well I will let Matt know that you are still very interested in the job, what was your name?
Me: chrissymuffin (not puttin my name).
Employee: okay well I will let him know, thank you for the follow up. have a good day.
Me: you too, bye.
Employee: thanks, bye.
